How time flies! It has been a couple of weeks since our last update. We’ve been very busy as of late, but we’ve got a lot of great news to report to our backers.

-Popular Science did a nice one page feature about Mycroft and our design process. The piece appeared in the magazine and online this past week – ( bit.ly/1NyrIzt)

– The Mycroft team completed the and released our dronecast video which demonstrates a novel application of Mycroft – ( bit.ly/1IexfsA )

– The Kansas team attended Startup Weekend KC as a team building exercise and took 2nd place. Everyone agreed that this was an excellent event and the team really had a good time. ( bit.ly/1la9OGe )

– After seeing the team work together at KC Startup Weekend, Karl Watson decided to transition from an advisor to a staff member. Karl will be taking over the duties of CFO freeing Kris to focus on marketing. Karl has spent the last fifteen years as a partner and COO of GPW & Associates, LLC – an engineering consulting firm specializing in electrical and mechanical engineering. Before that he was the CFO of DiscoverME where he closed $2.7 million in funding and managed the legal and administrative processes. Prior to joining DiscoverME Karl was the director of planning for Payless Shoe Source where he directed the allocation of $1.1 billion annually.

– The hardware team is in the home stretch. The latest enclosure is off the printer and we have prototype boards completed for both the amp and i2s audio interface. ( bit.ly/1S9PiQQ ), (bit.ly/1X3xOMw)

We’re staying busy, and with Thanksgiving yesterday various team members shared how thankful they were to be working on such an awesome project. We can’t wait to share a bunch of great initiatives we are undertaking with our fans in the upcoming weeks. So stay tuned!
